Our Intake nursery is a large converted corner building, which was extensively refurbished in 2002 with support of the governments Neighbourhood Nursery Initiative Scheme. It is a two-storey building, bright and modern with lots of new equipment provided. It is the designated for the Intake Children's Centre. This spacious accommodation provides ideal surroundings for your child to develop and grow in a safe and happy environment. We have a large out side play area with soft play ground covering. The playground accommodates climbing and other playground equipment. Along side the playground is a small wildlife in the garden and fenced water area in complete safety. The children have their own garden where they plant vegetables, herbs and flowers. Intake Nursery has a ball pool situated in a cabin in the play area to the rear of the building that ensures that children have the opportunity to exercise every day no matter how wet or cold the weather is. Inside, we have many pets, gerbils, hamsters, guinea pigs, gold fish and giant land snails, for the children to experience and enjoy. We also have a “Sensory Bus” that will provide the children with valuable cognitive development, multi sensory experiences, relaxation and stimulating new ways of learning. The nursery has, at the front of the building, short stay parking bays, making drop off and collection simpler. The nursery is situated to the east of the Doncaster Town Moor, 1 mile from the town centre and 2 miles from the M18 & Junction 4. We are based approximately 2/3rds of the up Sandringham Road, traveling out towards Armthorpe, on the right hand side. The nursery is well served by public transport and a small range of small local facilities is located on Sandringham Road.
