Our nurseries are divided into two age-group:

• Pooh Bears & Rabbitz Unit for Under 2’s

The Baby Units are designed to allow the children to feel at home. The rooms have low, comfy chairs, soft rugs and mini-chairs and tables, at the children’s height and within their grasp so they can explore freely and safely.

• Tiggers & Piglets Unit for Toddlers and Pre-School

The Early Years Units are designed to stimulate, educate and entertain. The rooms are equipped with a fantastic array of toys, games, art materials and role-play activities. The Pre-School units are divided into sub-units where each child has the opportunity to explore areas in literacy, numeracy, free expression, small world, technology (ICT) etc.

Our nurseries have:

• Child-sized toilets
• Comfortable sleep mats with their own sheet
• Large, all-weather outdoor areas with safety surfacing,  a lawned area, flower beds with a digging and cultivating area set aside.
  
  At Intake nursery, we have a fruit, vegetable and herb garden designed to be accessible to the children. Your child will have the opportunity to take part in regular, supervised gardening sessions and will bring home vegetables they have sown, tended and harvested.

A Sensory ‘Play Bus’ for the children to explore and play.

Food
As part of caring, we believe in serving the highest quality of home-cooked delicious and nutritious food (see sample menu). Balanced nutrition provides the building blocks for healthy minds and bodies. We aim to make mealtimes fun and we take advantage of all the learning opportunities such as listening, talking and sharing, as well as developing fine motor skills.
